The HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich is a member of the Universities of Applied Sciences of Zurich. It was founded in 1986 as the part-time HWV Zurich (Higher School for Economics and Administration) by the Kaufmännischer Verband Schweiz and the Juventus Schools Foundation of Zurich. With over 2’200 students and 500 lecturers, the HWZ is now the biggest part-time University for economics in Switzerland. The HWZ is situated in the modern “Sihlhof” right in the heart of Zurich, 3 minutes from the main railway station.
The Institute for Strategic Management: Stakeholder View is the research unit of the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich. The institute is headed by Sybille Sachs, a renowned stakeholder theorist, and conducts research in the areas „Stakeholder Management & Engagement“, „Digital Management“ and „Leadership“. The insights from this research are part of dissertation projects and other publications. Apart from research, the institute also offers teaching and other services such as consulting.
