HWZ was founded in 1986 as HWV Zurich, a part-time business school, by the Commercial Association and the Foundation Juventus Schulen Zurich. HWZ is located in the trendy Europaallee district, right next to the main train station, in the modern «Sihlhof» building. HWZ was institutionally reaccredited in 2023 in accordance with the new HFKG.
HWZ stands for an optimal combination of career, studies, and private life. We train and educate people in the best possible way in technical, personal, and leadership skills so that they can achieve their professional goals. The guiding principle "from practice for practice" is particularly important to us. This is because we work and teach in line with market economy principles. In addition, as a comprehensive and courteous service provider, we create a professional environment for our students in which they feel comfortable and can concentrate fully on their studies.
