Our lecturers coach the teams and ensure professional supervision.
The programme director is responsible for planning and coordination, and is available to support you as your main point of contact.
You will receive professional support throughout the entire process, backed by the expertise and quality standards of HWZ.
What HWZ students bring with them
The teams study in the 4th and 5th semesters of the Digital Business & AI HWZ bachelor’s programme, which combines subject areas such as software engineering, AI & data science, and business & leadership.
Students acquire a solid foundation in backend programming and web technology, databases and data modelling, UX, requirements engineering and design thinking, as well as in both traditional and agile project management. Through their concurrent employment (70–80%), they gain genuine practical experience and focus on solutions rather than theories.

Get to know the Bachelor’s degree programme in Digital Business & AI
The Bachelor’s degree in Digital Business & AI combines business management thinking with technological expertise. Students learn to understand digital business models, develop software and digital solutions, and analyse data using artificial intelligence methods. Core topics include software engineering, data and AI, digital business processes, and project management. The programme is practice-oriented and prepares students to develop and implement digital solutions for real-world business challenges.
