Students work in interdisciplinary teams on your research question over two semesters – methodologically rigorous, practice-oriented and tailored to your needs.

What HWZ students bring with them

The teams study in the 4th and 5th semesters of the Digital Business & AI HWZ bachelor’s programme, which combines subject areas such as software engineering, AI & data science, and business & leadership.

Students acquire a solid foundation in backend programming and web technology, databases and data modelling, UX, requirements engineering and design thinking, as well as in both traditional and agile project management. Through their concurrent employment (70–80%), they gain genuine practical experience and focus on solutions rather than theories.

The Bachelor’s degree in Digital Business & AI combines business management thinking with technological expertise.
