Integrated communication concept
As part of the part-time Bachelor’s program in Business Communications, teams of HWZ students develop integrated communication concepts for companies and organizations – preferably medium-sized Swiss companies – in the Communication Management module.
For this practical transfer or application of the learned theory, HWZ is looking for suitable clients.
Who is suitable as a client?
Swiss SMEs or subsidiaries of large companies, as well as NGOs and NPOs with a complex stakeholder structure, are the best candidates as clients. If the products and/or services are also personally relevant to the students, who are around 20-30 years old, they will work with particular commitment and motivation.
Your Benefits
The client receives 4-5 different integrated communication concepts, which take all relevant stakeholders into account and include the content (message), formal aspects (image/text), media aspects (cross-multimedia) and the temporal networking of all instruments and measures. Most students are working on such a concept for the first time, which is why there can be no “quality guarantee”. Therefore, the assignment is carried out free of charge.
Procedure
By the end of December, a client decides to participate. In February/March, the lecturer prepares the briefing and discusses it with the client. The client presents their company in the context of the HWZ course (around April). The students develop a comprehensive integrated communication concept in their team, partly in class and beyond, with personal time commitment between class days over a period of about three months. The client is available during this time to answer questions and provide information. The assigned lecturer coaches the students. At the beginning to mid-July, the teams present their concept to the clients and lecturers.
