Startup projects

In recent years, students from a wide range of HWZ degree programmes have already completed project assignments for more than 500 startups, helping many new companies to achieve their breakthrough. Are you a startup (not yet founded or a company less than three years old)? Then you too can benefit from cost-effective support from HWZ students.

Business model and business plan projects

The students are in the sixth or final (eighth) semester of their studies towards the Bachelor in Business Administration HWZ, Bachelor in Digital Business & AI HWZ, or Bachelor in Business Communications HWZ. They are usually employed by large companies, primarily within the service sector.

Suitable projects include the evaluation and planning of new business and product ideas, such as variations of business models. Less suitable are tasks from the fields of gastronomy or retail, or projects involving online portals financed exclusively through advertising.

Your benefits

You will receive alternative business models, a complete business plan, a detailed financial business case, and an investor pitch presentation. Students of business administration dedicate approximately 650 hours in total to their project, while students of digital business & AI spend around 150 hours (example based on a team of five).
