The content is organised into different strands – interconnected, practice-oriented, and future-focused.
Business management involves developing a comprehensive understanding of how organisations are structured, led and developed further. It requires combining strategic thinking with entrepreneurial creativity, fostering innovation and change, and responding to the dynamics of markets and organisations. Covering topics from the fundamentals of business administration and organisational development to issues of transformation and strategy, an integrated picture of modern corporate leadership emerges, with the aim of developing responsible and forward-thinking drivers of economic change.

The bachelor’s thesis is an academic paper that you write in your final year of study, alongside your major. Through this work, you not only demonstrate your skills in academic methods and research methodology, but also engage in depth with a topic that particularly interests you. In doing so, you automatically acquire specialist knowledge in the area of your research question. This gives you the opportunity to further refine your professional profile in a focused manner.
By choosing a specialisation (major), you give your studies a distinctive personal focus. The specialisation you select enables you to acquire additional subject-specific and industry-related knowledge during your final year. Together with the bachelor’s thesis, it accounts for a good third of the main degree programme. You indicate your preferred major when you register. However, you can make your final choice of specialisation in your sixth semester, allowing you to decide which major best suits you.
The Bachelor in Business Administration is aimed at individuals who aspire to take on an executive-level management role, a highly qualified role within a management team or to work as a specialist in their field.
