Senem Glaunsinger
Programme Director BSc

Senem Glaunsinger has been head of the BSc Business Administration programme since February 2026. In this role, she is responsible for the ongoing development of the programme content, supports both lecturers and students, and oversees quality assurance processes.
In addition to her role as programme director, she conducts research in the field of educational innovation. Her research focuses on curriculum studies, with an emphasis on design-based research and implementation science in higher education. Central to her work is the question of how curricula that promote employability can be developed on an evidence-based basis, tested in real university contexts, effectively implemented, and further developed over the long term.
She has many years of experience in the higher education sector and combines expertise in educational management, curriculum development, pedagogy, research and marketing. Her profile is characterised by strong conceptual skills, a deep understanding of higher education processes, and a solution- and service-oriented approach to working with diverse stakeholder groups.
Over the past 15 years, she has developed educational programmes and curricula at universities of applied sciences, further advanced curricula, managed and marketed continuing education programmes, advised programme directors on the development of existing teaching and continuing education offerings, and contributed to institution-wide process and digitalisation projects. Previously, she gained extensive experience in brand management through strategic roles in agencies and corporate environments.
Senem Glaunsinger holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing, a Bachelor's degree in Information & Communication Management, and a CAS in Higher Education. With her interdisciplinary background, she brings a diversity of perspectives that is essential for the development of modern, practice-oriented and research-focused educational programmes.
