Sustainability.concrete
Sustainability issues are omnipresent and present huge potential opportunities but also risks for companies. Companies are therefore required to position themselves strategically on sustainability. If they do not do so, they risk no longer being attractive to employees and possibly also being boycotted by external stakeholders. Dealing with sustainability issues requires a deeper understanding and active action on the part of organizations. With our event format “Sustainability.Concrete,” we therefore shed light on various ecological and social sustainability goals, in line with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), from the management and practical perspective. We look, we discuss and we encourage action.
Key figures
The Institute for Strategic Management: Stakeholder View at HWZ has been dealing with the topic of sustainability in a corporate context for over 20 years and has created the event format “Sustainability.Concrete”. The series of events at HWZ provides a platform for in-depth discussions on sustainability topics with experts and for networking with like-minded people. The insights from our research are combined with the expertise of external speakers from companies, NGOs or politics.
With our event series “Sustainability.Concrete” we want to inform and educate, inspire, network and motivate. Our topics are ecological and social sustainability in the corporate context. We are guided by an integrated understanding of sustainability, which assumes that social and economic development will only contribute to the well-being of people and nature in the long term if it is in harmony with the planetary boundaries.
