University partnerships

Through partnerships with leading academic institutions worldwide, HWZ seeks to continuously enhance its existing educational offer. Our relationships with these respected institutions help shape and support the development of future leaders in business. One such partnership is with the Darden School of Business (University of Virginia), which is considered one of the world’s leading business schools.

The Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) was founded in 2003 and is the national university system of the Himalayan kingdom, with its headquarters in Thimphu. It is organised as a decentralised, federal institution and comprises nine constituent colleges and two affiliated colleges across the country. Its academic mission is rooted in the philosophy of Gross National Happiness (GNH).

HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich and the Royal University of Bhutan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for international cooperation in higher education. The MoU aims to promote long-term collaboration in teaching, research and continuing education. The planned areas of cooperation include Executive Education, joint study programmes, mutual exchange of faculty and students, as well as joint research projects and specialist events.

Cooperation between the Mainz University of Applied Sciences and HWZ in the field of digital building and real estate.

At the heart of our collaboration are joint educational programmes, the development of practice-oriented continuing education formats, and the targeted exchange of students, enabling us to learn from and with each other across national borders. In this way, we combine academic excellence with practical application and create learning environments where new skills are developed for an industry in transition.

In addition, we will continue to develop services and knowledge transfer formats together, in order to support companies and organisations in their transformation relating to data, processes, technologies, and new value creation models within the real estate sector.
