Communication & marketing
The HWZ communications department is responsible for corporate and marketing communications. We are your main point of contact for the following areas: brand management, media relations and PR, advertising, event management (corporate events), social media management, website, corporate publishing, and communications projects.

We ensure that HWZ is visible both internally and externally. As the central point of contact for communication, brand management and marketing, we support students, lecturers, staff and partners in all matters relating to corporate communications, social media, events and publishing.
News & Stories
HWZ thrives on the stories that emerge from and around student life. The most compelling stories are created precisely here: in project work, semesters abroad, shared experiences, practical case studies, and successful graduations. We aim to capture all of this. That is why we always welcome contributions from students, programme directors, and lecturers.

Authentic insights
For particularly authentic insights into student life, the communications department works closely with Suzan Nacakgedigi. She is studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at HWZ and regularly shares her everyday study experiences with the community. Suzi helps us to highlight the student perspective and to develop relevant content for our target audiences.

We are open to a social media takeover lasting 24–48 hours or to regular contributions. Please contact us if you are interested in showcasing daily student life at HWZ.
HWZ newsletter
The monthly HWZ newsletter provides a concise overview of what is happening at the university: insights into teaching, changes within higher education, engaging profiles, as well as the latest news and events. It aims to make HWZ more accessible, to share relevant developments transparently, and to strengthen exchange within our community.
Fairs & university appearances
HWZ is present at selected fairs and external events to raise the profile of our university, engage with interested parties, and expand our network.
As the communications department, we work closely with the HWZ departments and are responsible for the planning, organisation and communications support of trade fair appearances.

Events at HWZ
We organise our own events on current, relevant and engaging topics from the world of business. In addition, we are partners for numerous events that take place at HWZ. Furthermore, we are involved in external events, where we participate as partners whenever possible.
As the communications department, we provide support with concept development, communication and coordination, maintain close contact with the responsible teams, and ensure a coherent and visible presence for HWZ.
