Innovation and intrapreneurship with sustainable impact
Oliver Durrer has been the new programme director since March 2026 of the CAS Innovation Management HWZ. He has been involved in the Executive MBA – Digital Leadership HWZ since 2020, initially as a lecturer and later as the leader of the «Innovation Challenge» module.
Oliver is fascinated by innovation, technology and people, and has a passion for personal and organisational development. He has over 20 years of leadership experience in international corporations, (tech) start-ups and his own family business, and serves as an independent board member for SMEs and start-ups.
As a sparring partner and mentor for strategy, innovation, leadership and organisational development, the founder of the SwissLEAP AG the entrepreneurial capacity for innovation and culture of SMEs through to large enterprises. In doing so, he unlocks the potential of leaders, teams and organisations to create value with impact. As co-lead for Central Switzerland and startup coach at Youngpreneurs he supports the next generation of founders.
Oliver holds an MSc in Business Administration (lic. oec HEC) from the University of Lausanne, and is a certified Lean Innovation Coach and Market Opportunity Navigator. He speaks six languages and enjoys travelling, fine food, discovering new cultures, and lifelong learning.
