Accreditation and certification
HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich is institutionally accredited under the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA/HFKG).
HWZ was accredited by the Swiss Accreditation Council following a comprehensive review carried out by the Agency for Accreditation and Quality Assurance (AAQ). As part of this process, HWZ was accredited as a University of Applied Sciences and awarded the corresponding quality seal. In 2023, HWZ was successfully re-accredited.
Best guarantee for a high-quality further development
The accreditation was granted on the recommendation of an international panel of experts. In its assessment, the panel noted, among other points, that HWZ has a “well-developed quality assurance system” and a “high degree of self-critical reflection”, which “seems to be the best guarantee for high-quality further development”.
