Dr. iur. David Wicki-Birchler, LL.M., Attorney-at-Law

As programme director, David Wicki-Birchler oversees the three CAS within the MAS Financial Markets Compliance programme. After studying law at the University of Zurich, with periods spent in Copenhagen and Lausanne, David Wicki-Birchler worked as a compliance officer and senior legal counsel at various banks, most recently at Zürcher Kantonalbank as a member of the executive management. Since completing an LL.M. at UCLA in Los Angeles, he has worked as an independent compliance consultant. Dr David Wicki is admitted to practise law in the USA (Wisconsin). Since 1 August 2020, he has headed the Data Protection & Compliance Centre at HWZ.
