Since 2026, Sylvie Vlk has been Head of all bachelor’s degree programmes at HWZ. This role builds on her many years of experience at HWZ: from 2018, she led the Bachelor’s in Business Administration programme. In 2022, she additionally took on the co-leadership of the Department of Degree Programmes together with Dr Urs Jäckli and was appointed to the Executive Board. Since spring 2024, her focus has been on strategic development projects within the degree programmes.
Previously, she was responsible for the MSc in Business Administration, which was successfully accredited under her leadership. In collaboration with the Center for Human Resources & Leadership, she also developed and led several executive education programmes in the areas of General Management, HR & Leadership.
Sylvie Vlk, lic. phil. I, studied at the University of Zurich and developed her higher education teaching competences through various further qualifications, including a CAS for Programme Directors. Before joining HWZ, she worked for several years in executive search and with various private education providers.
