40 years of HWZ. 40 degrees. 100% celebration mood.
Last Friday, HWZ, together with alumniHWZ, invited guests to the traditional HWZ Summer Day Party at the Bauschänzli. Around 300 students, alumni, lecturers and staff celebrated the annual get-together and marked the 40th anniversary of HWZ in glorious summer weather.

In glorious sunshine and with a record-breaking 40 degrees, the Bauschänzli once again became a meeting place for the HWZ community. Refreshing drinks, delicious grilled specialities, summery salads and sweet desserts provided just the right sustenance, while lively conversations, plenty of laughter and an excellent atmosphere shaped the evening. The specially created blue HWZ Celebration Drink proved particularly popular, offering a welcome refreshment in the summer heat.
A particular highlight was the anniversary cake, which was used to toast 40 years of HWZ. The blue anniversary balloons added extra splashes of colour, decorating the event grounds and perfectly complementing the celebratory atmosphere.
Of course, the popular photo booth was also a must. With creative props, numerous souvenir photos were taken, capturing the special evening and providing plenty of laughs.
A heartfelt thank you to all students, alumni, lecturers, staff and partners who celebrated this anniversary evening with us and contributed to its success.
We are already looking forward to the HWZ Summer Day Party 2027 – hopefully once again with summery temperatures, a great atmosphere, and many familiar faces.
