Lea Hungerbühler, LL.M., attorney-at-law

As Programme Director, Lea Hungerbühler leads the CAS International Compliance Management at HWZ. A qualified attorney with a focus on financial market law, she runs her own legal advisory practice. Lea Hungerbühler studied Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen and holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School.

She serves as a board member of an asset management company, as president of a human rights organization and as vice president of the criminal law division at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft. Her previous professional experience includes roles at leading corporate law firms and the Swiss State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SIF). Her interdisciplinary background and international experience shape her practice-oriented and forward-looking approach to compliance education.
